PETA Joins AMBIENTE Magazine in bringing the Animal Rights Message to
the LGBT Community

In the ongoing efforts of AMBIENTE Magazine to provide quality and
timely materials, thought provoking subjects and relevant columnists for
the Latino|Hispanic|LGBT Community, AMBIENTE has recently teamed
with the Internationally recognized Animal Rights organization – PETA
(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to provide a bi-monthly
column on current animal rights issues around our community, the nation
& the globe.
In a statement issued this morning, PETA executives said “PETA is excited to be partnering with Ambiente to
bring the animal rights message to the LGBT community. Leaders of social justice movements have
historically recognized that the liberation of one oppressed group is linked to the liberation of other groups,
and PETA and Ambiente have common goals: to fight prejudice and intolerance in all their forms. Ambiente
is to be commended for generously donating editorial space to PETA to help bring about progressive change
in the way that animals are treated.”

Herb Sosa. “We have always prided ourselves in providing reputable & relevant information to our readers
and who better than PETA to write a column in our magazine for all things relating to Animal Rights” added

Ambiente Magazine is a bilingual Hispanic LGBT publication produced bi-monthly, offered free of charge,
distributed electronically around the globe, and reaches over thousands of loyal readers monthly. With a
focus on all things Hispanic|Latino|LGBT, Ambiente Magazine is about individuals, design, style, politics,
health, sports, community activism, interviews and thought-provoking articles by contributing writers from
around the globe, cultural and entertainment news.
